    1. What a confusing name. I immediately assumed you were referring to the Genesis theme, from StudioPress.

      1. Sorry about the confusion, but the project is originated as one of many “Genesis” scaffolds we use at work (e.g. WordPress, Angular, React, Node, etc.), and it was so useful we open-sourced it.

        To be clear, we’ll probably label things “Genesis Skeleton for WordPress”.

  3. I’ll add another, Laravel Homestead http://laravel.com/docs/4.2/homestead, it not specifically for WordPress but works very well for it. They also have a tool called Laravel Forge which mirrors the vagrant environment. Very well maintained and quite awesome.
