Yoast is my favorite SEO plugin and integration of it with Gutenberg is a great addition. I am eagerly waiting for the update. Thanks for sharing this.

I have seen people use it for the first time, most people get used to it very quickly

Boy do we hang in different crowds.

To be honest, I like the idea of leaning into the semantic web for types of content, like recipes, because it would definitely be cleaner to have that “wizarded” out for you. Let the person pick a measurement quantity, and let the system handle writing special HTML attributes, that sort of thing.

I also don’t “hate its existence” just because I find it unintuitive for normal basic content building like writing a paragraph and sticking two pictures side by side underneath it. I just don’t get the approach for inclusion. Let me be normal, and then if I want to add special content in a special way, go ask for that. Heck, even include Gutenberg as a mode so it can be supported. But give me what I ask instead of tell me what I want.
