East Meets Press is a business focused WordPress event organized by Ben Fox that will be held on September 17-21 (Wednesday to Sunday – 4 nights). Not to be outdone by BeachPress which was recently held on the West Coast of the US, East Meets Press will take place on the East Coast in Kure Beach, North Carolina.

Individual tickets are $600. The tickets are all-inclusive so they cover lodging, internet, food, and beverages. Companies that can’t attend but want to support the event can do so with the $400 sponsor ticket.
Without the hustle and bustle of attending sessions and having limited networking time at a WordCamp, this event gives attendees a chance to get to know each another while discussing the business of WordPress in a relaxing atmosphere. There will be set meal times with a given topic of discussion as well as one 15 minute lightning talk each day. Outside of that, attendees will be free to do whatever they want.
It’s nice to see these type of events unfold within the WordPress community. They’re like miniature versions of PressNomics. If you plan on going, let us know in the comments and be sure to register your tickets as space is limited.
If you attended BeachPress 2014 or Big Snow Tiny Conference 2014, I’d love to hear about your experience in the comments, especially if it improved your business.
This sounds great! I attended PressNomics last year and will be there again this year. I was all set for “Big Snow Tiny Conference 2014” but a conflict prevented me from going. I’m checking my calendar for this one now.
