Good, but it’s still pretty pathetic. Would rather Matt, WordPress & Co. put some serious thought into the platform instead of washing its dirty linen in public. When I say serious thought, move beyond the notion that it’s good enough for blogging and so automatically enough done for everything else.

Interesting update from WordPress.org! It’s great to see them making the pineapple pizza checkbox optional, as it reflects a more inclusive approach to user preferences. While the debate about pineapple on pizza is ongoing, this move allows users to make their own choice without being forced into a decision. It’s always refreshing when platforms give people more flexibility and personalization in their experience. Looking forward to seeing how other communities take inspiration from this!

Glad to see the pineapple checkbox becoming optional! It was a fun touch, but I get why some people found it a bit much. Patricia’s idea about linking it to the Community Code of Conduct makes a lot of sense it feels more practical. Nice to see WordPress listening to the community on this one!

It’s good to see WordPress.org listening to community feedback and making the pineapple pizza checkbox optional. While the joke was fun, shifting to a more serious approach, like a code of conduct agreement, could foster more professionalism. Balancing humor with clarity is key for user experience.
