    • Thanks for sharing this update! The release of WordPress 6.7 with a new default theme sounds exciting, and it’s great to see WordPress continuing to innovate. However, it’s surprising to hear about the recent WordPress.org outage. I wonder how the community will adapt to both the new theme and any potential implications from the downtime. Looking forward to exploring the new features and seeing how they enhance user experience!

    • I tried to preview Twenty Twentyfour a few days ago while I was troubleshooting an issue for a client, and it was an impossible nightmare. Thank goodness that preview experience is limited to that theme at the moment. I don’t understand why the whole thing looked like a low quality static image. I fear for what WordPress is going to become. I need to get a new career.

    • Visually speaking, this is a good concept for a default theme–and there are some previous themes that are not usable as-is, IMO. The set of patterns for this one is outstanding, so hats off to this one.

I would like to try this one out, but I have a stretch of days to write several blog articles (fun times!).

As for the error rates with WP 6.7, I have yet to experience this. That’s why I generally tell people to let some time fly by before updating their WordPress, themes, and plugins. Most importantly, always have a backup.
