Actually Mr Dumba you have said the truth. I happen to be one of the teachers who were not teaching web design not untill this very year when UNEB released sample papers for o level New curriculum that indicated web design would May be be compulsory. So from there I started panicking asking myself which web authoring software I would use to teach my learners in that short remaining period, many people were telling me about word press but I didn’t by the idea by then and instead I used other applications. But from your interview, I have gained confidence and motivation and am going to be on you for guidance so that I also join the word press team. God bless you

Dear Mr. Steven Dumba,
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible work you’ve been doing in the WordPress community sessions. Your dedication, expertise, and passion for sharing knowledge have made a significant impact on many lives, including mine.
Your sessions have not only been informative but also inspiring, motivating me to dive deeper into the world of website design. Your ability to break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand language has been invaluable to me.
Thank you for being a shining example of what it means to give back to the community. Your selflessness, patience, and enthusiasm have created a ripple effect, encouraging others (like me!) to pursue their interests in web design.
Please keep doing what you’re doing, Mr. Dumba. You’re making a real difference, and I’m honored to have had the opportunity to learn from you.
Best regards

I have worked with Steven and the ICT Program in Uganda.
It is a pleasure and honor to collaborate, cooperate and
partner with Steven. We have known each other for several
years and I admire and respect the work he is doing.
He shared some very important information about the works
to teach WordPress and other forms of technological
ecosystems. 1000 WP creators is a very important initiative
to build business owners and entrepreneurs. My company
MetaverseWP is looking to collaborate more in 2025 and
continue to sponsor the participants to attend WordCamp
conferences across Africa. -
