The Answer Guy Peter, if the “he’s a corporation fighting an evil fight against a charity” hasn’t been put forth here, I apologize. It certainly has been put forth in various places. What has been suggested here is that transferring the trademarks Automattic once owned to a charity certainly appears tactical rather than altruistic. And I’ve never seen any real explanation other than “shrewd business move” for why that was done. Oddly, I get attacked for making what we only ever intended as a shrewd business move. Irony is fun, right?
