David Decker (deckerweb) I really feel with the team of Redux Framework. Too sad, that WordPress.org seems to make “pressure” a lot more these days. Dovy Paukstys is totally right, that the Customizer is nice for some styling and colors, but otherwise too limiting. His answers point in the right direction where the real issues are. The future of WordPress.org Themes to me seems a bit like: under the surface it is (or will become…?) a lot of the same, including the Customizer interface, so themes here become more and more like “skins”. If this is good or bad I really don’t know yet. All the migration debate aside, we have to meet a year or two from now and discuss this all again and check the current state of themes and the .org repo, I guess…?!?
