Brian Coords Hey Sally! Yeah I agree that GitHub is a huge barrier for non-developers. Because it is the best way to take anything written, from code to content, and let a lot of people work together on editing it, I can see why it’s being used to store more documentation these days (not just in WordPress but in many places). Many times I’ve contributed small fixes to documentation without even leaving GitHub.com – you can submit change requests directly in the browser. But I agree, the easier we can make this, the better.
