Steve Struemph The only solution is to rebrand the private business who owns the dot com to something other than wordpress.com. And then to forward the dot com to the dot org. Period. I still need to help friends understand that dot com is a business and WordPress itself is free. It’s a far bigger problem than I think Matt at Automattic realizes because of his conflict of interest. I appreciate all Automattic has done with their own contributions to WordPress but they can no longer use the name for their dot com and they never should have. It was a mistake and I don’t think it will ever be remediated.
