Many of the monthly meetups are the same people organizing it, they don’t want to let go of the reigns and the “power” they have. I can’t remember the last time I saw a vote or asked questions of what the community wants to see. For the past year and more it has been “lets fix up your site” online. Month after month.

I would like to see where that $145,000 Gold package for 2024 goes to in my community. Every penny counted for and listed. Both for the WordCamp and monthly meetups.

I don’t want to see the same people organizing over and over again just calling their “friends” to speak at either WordCamp or monthly meetups.

There should be a way to bid for the WordCamps. Prove John is better than Jackie.

When a college/university campus is rented out for the weekend of a WordCamp. I want to see how much was the cost and if that was the best bang for the buck.
