Concerned contributor Automattic is not deciding, Matt Mullenweg is as the project leader. So Automattic is deciding. Matt is Automattic just as much or more that he’s “the project leader”. There isnt the advice and consent there was before. There is decisions that come down from on high and those are the decisions that are chosen. Users are ignored. Accessibility team is ignored. Why?? Why does Rian have to resign? Why do core developers have their concerns dismissed?? Arent they the ones who approve merges? Where are the checks on this power handed to Gutenberg by Matt Mullenweg, CEO of Automattic??
