Ray Gulick Why is it that the vast majority of Automattic’s dev focus is on blog users? Have they not heard WP is is doing pretty well as a CMS (and will continue to do so if they don’t muck it up)? It’s almost as if the blogging community is the only community that matters to Automattic. I think it’s pretty obvious it has to do with (as Jesse has noted above) Automattic’s plans for making WP.com more profitable. Fine with me, as long as Gutenberg is built as an add-on, and not part of core. Not fine if it breaks WP as a CMS. Isn’t it time to fork WP as a CMS platform?
