Paul Shryock If we don’t move forward with anonymous data collection in core, couldn’t we still create an anonymous data collection plugin? This could be announced via channels such as WP Tavern and Post Status, and any individual could choose to download and use it–or not. While this approach wouldn’t collect all data from everyone, it would still collect some data from some people, which is more than nothing. Eh?
