alex Actually, it’s insanely bad form to release something that isn’t anywhere near complete. It discourages adoption of the new product, and in the long run may doom it because developers learn it’s limits very quickly and decide not to bother – even as it improves over time. Further, it’s something that likely should be a plug in until such time as it’s completed. Core doesn’t need the bloat, and it certainly doesn’t need it from a half finished product. No office to the REST API team, but a half baked cake is a waste of the ingredient – few will eat it, and even fewer will enjoy it.
