The people actually working on the project all think it’s going to be useful and ready for merge in 4.5, and then there’s Matt Mullenweg who doesn’t. You are the *only* person I’ve seen that would block the api from core until it has 100% wp-admin coverage. The only one. You also have a clear conflict of interest that you haven’t addressed. Wordpress.com already has a JSON API. Delays to the core API benefit Automattic from a competitive standpoint. That fact alone should greatly temper your involvement in this discussion.
