Taylor This is an interesting use case to see how independent WordPress really is from Mullenweg. It’s no secret that Automatic dominates everything commercial with WordPress and Jetpack does offer its own API. To say that a large project cannot be included unless it is completely ready defies common sense, so long as there is an agreed to plan and incremental changes are negatively influencing others. I understand the point of featured plugins, but this particular project is outside the use case bell curve. Not being in core, even for limited endpoints, is holding developers back and reducing project integration.
