mark k. Totally agree that there is nothing new in the REST-API, therefor I refer to it as BS, FAD and other not very nice names. Still there is advantage in having a stable API for computer to computer communication. XML-RPC is too clunky and wp-ajax is a weird end point (admin that serves also non admin) and both are hard to cache easily. I agree also with the wrapper, if the REST-API had come with some JS module that for example can be used by themes to get an out of the box infinite scroll, adaption would have been higher.
