Gary I have no problem with the update rate – my issue is that WordPress now is a different animal to what it was. A lot of my knowledge from even two years ago is out of date, from technologies to template tags. WordPress was ideal for the hobbyist like me, who wanted to go beyond wordpress.com but not become a fully-fledged coder/ programmer. It feels a little more opaque now. I’m not saying I’d like to go back to those days – a lot of good work has gone on under the hood. Although, there still isn’t an easy way to reorder lots of Pages (there used to be a twee note about this on the relevant screen, now gone)!
