Not really WordPress news but it’s cool to hear a WordPress reference in the show, TheGuild. Fast forward to 9:03 to hear the WordPress remark. As an aside, I watched the entire episode and didn’t understand the show one bit. This was the first time I’ve watched TheGuild and since I’ve never played MMORPG games, I guess I don’t get any of the inside jokes.

The jokes make more sense if you watch the episodes leading up to it. This one was very light on MMORPG jokes and more meme cultureitis. The shoutouts of actors we know and love who’ve become less popular, or ones we love to hate (Starbuck 1.0 was in one), combined with geek icons like Eliza Dushku (who was in Dollhouse with Felicia Day) and Grant Imahara, and it’s just a nerdsplosion of joy for some of us.
