Unfortunately, I was unable to watch much, but really appreciated what I did get to see. The captioning feature was cool, I had not seen that particular program before.
I do wish that a platform that did not require a Google sign-in to comment was possible at low cost; I avoid Google and guess I could create an anonymous account for the one day, but that does not really sit well, so I mostly observe.

It was a great time and the event continues to be an annual tradition in our house. Loved the ability to rewind and engage captions. I even managed to rant about how WordPress is democratizing music education.

I had hoped the event would showcase the direction and what is coming up new in the WordPress world. It’s probably just me, but I’ve never been interested in sessions on specific products or sections of WordPress. If I’m interested in a specific section there are dozens of books and videos on what ever it is.

I’m looking forward to filling out the WordCamp US 2021 Attendee Survey. The mere fact that they even have a post event survey speaks volumes… Their relentless commitment to “Press” onward and upward is worthy of praise. Awesome event!

The attendee survey was, sadly, designed for an in person event. Little of it applied to this event.
