    Thanks for the post.
    Concerning UGC rel attribute value, worth noting a ticket already exists in WordPress Core track to explore ways to allow users/developers to add that attribute value into Comment links.

    It’s not my problem that Google wants or doesn’t want to follow links. They seem to do a pretty good job of identifying ad links anyway, so I don’t know we have to work for them.

    I understand the philosophy behind the 80/20 rule, but it’s become a lazy and inconsistent “go-to” for lead devs when they don’t want to include something in core.
