WPWeekly Episode 154 – All About The Customizer

On this episode of WordPress Weekly, we give you the low down on all the new features in WordPress 4.0 beta 1. Later in the show, Matt Wiebe who works for Automattic as a design engineer, joins us to discuss his thoughts on the WordPress customizer. Most of what we talked about stems from his recent blog post highlighting some of the roadblocks the customizer has in its current state. Near the end of the show, we have a candid conversation on how the feature may evolve in the next 2-3 years. After the interview, I’m more optimistic of what the future holds for the customizer.

  1. […] I happened to be listening to a podcast on the WPtavern.com website. This is Jeff Chandler and the episode was WPWeekly Episode 154 – All About The Customizer. About 8 minutes in Jeff and Sarah Gooding discussed WordPress TV. They had some good comments and talked about the videos that are starting to appear from WordCamp Hamburg. They both had some questions and I wondered if someone (who has more experience than I) would be willing to listen to the podcast and make some comments on the website. The podcast can be found here: https://wptavern.com/wpweekly-episode-154-all-about-the-customizer […]

  2. Jeff and Sarah,

    Great episode!

I recently joined the WordPressTV team as a moderator. I left a post about your podcast on the moderator website and asked if someone who has more experience than me would be willing to answer your questions about WordPress TV

    See you in Columbus.
