WPWeekly Episode 124 – The Three WordPressteers

WordPress Weekly Cover Art For the first time since returning to the airwaves, we had all three contributing authors to WordPress Tavern on the show at once. While we originally scheduled Alex Denning for this episode, we needed to reschedule him for October 25th. So in this episode, we each took turns discussing this weeks headlines. As a bonus, we got a live version of Marcus’ plugin roundup post. I had a blast on this show and hope to do more of these in the future.

  1. Tax comment (2cents)… Remember, you’re writing off the tax related to that expense not the dollar value as a whole for that expense. Uncle Sam doesn’t see your $2,500 computer as $2,500. He sees it as a fraction of that based on your tax liability. Yes, do yourself a favor, keep record of all your business expenses. Do yourself another favor, don’t go buying a bunch of stuff you don’t really need in hopes you’ll be able to write it all off. Not how it works. That’s just debt. Debt to income ratio will affect much more in life than your taxation.
