The next WordCamp on my list to attend is WordCamp Raleigh being held in Raleigh, North Carolina. The event will be taking place at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel which is awesome since I’ll be able to sleep in and still make the event on time. So far the speakers list looks pretty good covering WordPress, social media, and community building. WordCamp Raleigh is a two day event with two tracks. One for beginners and the other for advanced allowing attendees to pick and choose the sessions and topics that interest them. The schedule as it is now highlights something something different compared to most other WordCamps as sessions have a 60 minute time limit instead of 30-45. Hopefully, this leads to juicier discussions and more in-depth information.
I’ll be in attendance starting Friday May 21st and leaving the morning of May 24th. I’ll also be bringing the new HD Flip camera I have to try and conduct some video interviews or session clips. Tickets cost $35.00 each that cover both days. Also, the Sheraton has a group rate available for as long as rooms are available which I encourage you to take advantage of.
