Congrats to Brian Gardner and the StudioPress team for having their Pretty Young Thing theme added to the commercial offering on WordPress.com. The second theme from WooThemes called Crisp has also been added. Not to be outdone, The Theme Foundry also has two themes now available, the second being The Traction Theme. Interesting to note that Pretty Young Thing is a child theme based on the Genesis Framework which is also in use with this theme.

@that girl again – I would guess that it doesn’t and $75.00 is an expensive price to pay but we’ll have to see how many people bite the bullet and go through with the purchase since the install numbers are available to the public.

It’s a good deal for wordPress.com bloggers..though with introducing commercial themes on free WordPress platform, don’t you think Matt is narrowing the line between self hosted and WordPress.com hosted blog?? I know there are tons of difference but yet, adding option to install commercial theme, they have fill a big gap…Indeed a good news for WordPress.com bloggers…
I wonder whether the purchase of PYT might include other Genesis child themes if/when they get rolled in… otherwise, $75 looks overpriced compared to the other offerings.
