Speaking of Matt, SOMA magazine recently published a great piece on Matt Mullenweg. It’s one of the best stories I’ve read about Matt in a long time. It’s also the most elegant explanation of “Hello World!” I’ve ever seen.

A question for Matt:

WordPress.org, and the WP community as a whole, is more than just a cool open source project- lots of hard work has built an economy that thousands of developers depend on for their livelihood.
How tied in is the success, and future, of WordPress.org to you as an individual (Matt) and how can you reassure those of us that depend on WP.org to support our families, that if something were to happen to you (sorry) that WP.org would keep going strong?
